1, 2, 3, Shawl

In practising my basic stitches before moving on to something more advanced, I decided to create my own blanket.  Now, I’m sure this is already an established pattern, but I don’t know it lol.  So, I’ve decided to give it my own name and write out the pattern for other beginners out there!

Literally any yarn you want, and whatever hook you like to go with it.  The amount of yarn needed will vary according to what size you’d like this shawl.

Here are some videos to help you with the different stitches.  ChainSingle CrochetDouble CrochetTriple/Treble Crochet

Chain to the desired length.
Rows 1 & 2: Single Crochet
Rows 3 & 4: Double Crochet
Rows 5 & 6: Triple/Treble Crochet
Rows: 7 & 8: Double Crochet
Rows: 9 & 10:Single Crochet
Repeat rows 1 – 10 until the desired length has been achieved.

It makes a  pretty shawl as well as being a good practice to get the stitches learned and feeling more natural to do.  It’s nothing fancy, but I hope someone out there finds it useful!
